Club Of The Month

Royal_Dornoch_1ROYAL DORNOCH

Royal Dornoch is known as the gem of the north and one of the world’s great courses. But for its remote location in the Highlands, this outstanding links, originally the work of Old Tom Morris, would have hosted many big championships. Bordered by the Dornoch Firth with views of the mountains of Sutherland, it’s not long by modern standards at 6,514 yards but it’s more than a test for the finest golfers. Five times Open champion Tom Watson said of it: ‘It was the most fun I’ve had playing golf in my whole life.’
